  1. Hi Sir!

I love your article about why we love/need bondage.

I have come to the conclusion that it is an incorrect question. There doesn’t need to be a why. One does not ask why they like Hawaii, but they will describe what they like about Hawaii. One does not ask why they like football, but they will describe what they like about football. To ask why we need/love bondage, assumes that it is different. If we are to truly eliminate shame, we must stop asking why.

I think it is a good conversation to have; and of course many of us can come up with theories and reasons, but none of them completely explain it. And, I doubt we would want something so mysterious and beautiful as bondage, to be boxed up and itself bound up.

So let us continue to ask what we like about bondage, what it does for us, how it makes us feel, how we can use it, in so many ways to accomplish so many things; but let us discontinue asking why we like what we like about bondage.
